AI Pro plan
It books clients into your open times through a short chat. A client taps a service and says what time suits them; the assistant offers dates, then times. Once they choose, they add their details and pay anything you collect upfront.
It works from your hours, booking window, blocked time and existing bookings, and every booking is checked again before it’s saved, so the chat can’t double-book you.
- More in Scheduling
In Schedule. Until you save hours, clients can’t book anything.
- Tap Availability (Hours on a phone), then Open Editor.
- Pick a day and switch on Available on this day.
- Add time windows with Add window. 9 to 12 and 1 to 5 leaves a lunch break nobody can book.
- Tap Save.
Hours follow your business timezone, set in Settings → Account Info. Clients see times in it wherever they are, and daylight saving is handled for you. Need different hours for some services?

Yes, by text, if they ask for them. The booking page has a box for text reminders, unticked until the client chooses it. Clients who tick it get two texts, about 24 hours and about 2 hours before, on both plans.
The texts are short, like “Your Brow Lamination appointment with Brow Theory by Mei is tomorrow at 2:00 PM PST.” Every client who books online also gets a confirmation email right away. Client didn’t get one?

A booking link for beauty and wellness pros. Clients open it, pick a service and book a time, and pay a deposit or the full price through Stripe if you ask them to.
It suits solo pros best, from lash artists, stylists and barbers to estheticians, trainers and coaches: one login per business, one client at a time apart from group sessions. On AI Pro, clients can also book by chatting with an AI assistant.
Start a 14-day free trial. You don’t need a card.
- Tap Start booking and choose a plan.
- Create your account with your email, a password of at least 12 characters and your phone number, then enter the 6-digit code we email you.
- Follow the short setup: business name and link, your trade, a starter service menu, your hours and timezone, and a Light or Dark dashboard. Each step saves as you go.
Once you have a service, clients can book; if you skipped the menu, add one in Services. Payments are optional: connect Stripe when you’re ready.
mytimebase.com/your-name, with a name you choose during setup: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, at least 3 characters, and not already taken.
To change it, go to Settings → Account Info → Edit Booking Link: any time during your free trial, then once a week. The old link stops working at once, so update your bio and anywhere you’ve shared it. Nobody else can claim the old name for 30 days.
No, and you don’t need one. Timebase runs in your phone’s browser, and the dashboard is laid out for phones: Revenue, Schedule and Settings sit in a bar at the bottom, and everything else is under More.
For one-tap access, add Timebase to your home screen from your browser’s menu. Your clients don’t need an app or an account either.
Turn on two-factor authentication and add a passkey. Both are in Settings → Account Info, where you also change your login email and password.
- Two-factor: each sign-in also asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app, such as Passwords on iPhone and Mac. Keep the 10 recovery codes you’re given somewhere safe.
- Passkey: sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your screen lock instead of a password. With two-factor on, you still enter your code.
Enter one of your recovery codes in place of the 6-digit code. That turns two-factor off, and you land in Account Info to set it up again with your new phone.
If you’ve lost your recovery codes too, contact us.
Message us through the contact form and we’ll reply by email. Include your booking link so we can find your account quickly.
Can’t sign in? Use Forgot password and we’ll email you a 6-digit code.
Something in your dashboard not working? Choose Report a problem and attach a screenshot if you can. On a computer, click your business name at the top of the sidebar; on a phone, tap More.

Yes, on every plan. Open Page Design, start from a preset, then change as much as you like. Changes save as you go and show on your live page right away.
- Photo: a circle, a Blended header that fades into your wallpaper, or a full-screen Studio cover
- Wallpaper: Gradient, Noise, Aurora, Contour, Pattern or your own image
- Text: eight fonts, with your own colors and sizes
- Buttons, links and service cards: style, corners and color
Your photo, name and bio at the top, set in Business Profile, then any of these blocks:
- Your services by category, as photo cards, a list or compact rows
- Your hours, taken from your availability
- Social icons, from Instagram and TikTok to phone, text and email
- Links to your portfolio, shop or anything else
- Up to five text sections, such as your booking policy
Drag blocks into any order, or hide the ones you don’t need, in Page Design → Layout.
mytimebase.com/yourname. That’s the link Timebase gives you to share, and older timebase.link addresses still open your page.
On AI Pro, you can also switch on Custom Subdomain in Settings → Account Info for a short yourname.timebase.pro address that forwards to your page.
You can’t connect a domain you own. Instead, point your website’s Book button at your Timebase link.
Yes. Open the live demo and pick a field: hair stylists, estheticians, nail artists, fitness coaches, wellness pros or virtual coaches. Each one opens a real Timebase booking page, so you see exactly what clients see.
Yes. Booking pages are designed for phones first, and the preview in Page Design shows the phone view.
On a computer, your wallpaper fills the screen and the rest sits in a centered column; a Blended header shows as a circle photo there. You can edit on your phone too: the preview fills the screen and each section opens in a panel below it.
AI Pro plan
Yes, on a paid AI Pro plan. Turn off Show Timebase badge in Page Design → Footer.
Otherwise every page shows a small Powered by Timebase badge at the bottom, including on Essential and during the free trial.
AI assistant
A chat on your page that books clients into your open times, at any hour.
7 questions
AI Pro plan
When they’d like to come in, in their own words. For example:
- A time of day: morning, afternoon or evening
- A set time: “Do you have 1pm?”
- A day: “Is Friday open?”
- The first opening: “What’s your soonest?”
It isn’t given your prices, address or policies, so it steers other questions back to booking, and it can’t change or cancel an existing booking. Your prices and durations already show on your page.
Yes. Every chat has a Prefer the calendar? link at the top that opens your calendar for the same service. If the assistant is busy or hits a problem, the client is taken to the calendar automatically, so a booking never gets stuck.
Services marked Group Session always open the calendar.
AI Pro, at $29 a month. On Essential, clients book on your calendar instead.
Start your free trial on AI Pro and the assistant is on from day one. There’s no extra charge per conversation. Compare the plans.
AI Pro plan
In Settings → System Settings. The choice covers your whole page.
- Under Booking System, choose AI or Calendar.
- Tap Save Settings.
With AI, your services open the chat; with Calendar, they open a date-and-time picker. Group Session services use the calendar either way.
AI Pro plan
It’s used to find them a time, and kept only if the chat ends in a booking. The assistant sees their messages plus what it needs to book: your business name, the service, your timezone, booking window and open times. It never sees who else booked and doesn’t ask for contact details.
Replies come from our AI provider’s model, which receives the chat to answer it. A chat that ends in a booking is stored with it, not shown in your dashboard. More in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, on any plan. Assistants such as ChatGPT can book for a client the same way a person does. They use your calendar rather than the chat, and go through the same last step: the client’s email and phone, plus anything you collect upfront.
To stop them, set Automated Bookings to Paused in Settings → System Settings; it saves at once. People keep booking as usual, and assistants are asked to contact you directly.
Scheduling
Your hours, services, time off, group sessions and bookings.
12 questions
In Schedule. Until you save hours, clients can’t book anything.
- Tap Availability (Hours on a phone), then Open Editor.
- Pick a day and switch on Available on this day.
- Add time windows with Add window. 9 to 12 and 1 to 5 leaves a lunch break nobody can book.
- Tap Save.
Hours follow your business timezone, set in Settings → Account Info. Clients see times in it wherever they are, and daylight saving is handled for you. Need different hours for some services?
Yes. In the hours editor, choose By Category or By Service and set hours for just those services.
Those hours replace your general hours for the services they cover, so any day you leave out is closed for them. Everything else keeps your General hours.
Add a block in Schedule. Nothing can be booked over it, not even bookings you add yourself.
- Tap Block time (Block on a phone).
- Choose a start and end date.
- Switch on All day, or set a time range. A range repeats on each day, so 12 to 1 from Monday to Friday blocks lunch all week.
- Add a note for yourself if you like, then save.
Bookings already in that time stay put, so cancel any you can’t keep. To remove a block, tap the × on it in your Schedule (Remove on a phone) and confirm.
- In Services, create a category with Edit Categories.
- Tap Add Service, then give it a name and a duration in 5-minute steps.
- Add a price if you like, such as 50 or “Starting at $100”. Online payments charge the number it starts with, so that’s $100.
- Drag services into the order clients should see.
Each service can also:
- Offer start times every 15, 30 or 60 minutes (Slot Interval)
- Run as a group session
- Ask clients for their address, for home visits
- Show up to 4 photos, and notes clients get before and after booking
Archive it. In Services, tap the archive icon on the service, then Archive. It leaves your booking page but stays in your Schedule and Analytics.
To bring it back, tap View Archive, then Restore.
Yes, on every plan. On the service, tick Group Session and set its group cap to 2 or more. Clients can book the same start time until it’s full, and they see how many spots are left.
Group sessions always book through your calendar, never the AI chat. On your Schedule, a session’s clients share one card; open it to see who’s coming.
Not for one-to-one services. A one-to-one booking can’t overlap any other booking, even for a different service, though two can sit back to back.
Group sessions count only their own spots, so one can land on top of your other bookings. Keep them apart with Block time.
Yes. To add a walk-in, call or DM:
- In Schedule, tap Manual Add (Add on a phone).
- Choose the service and type the client’s name.
- Pick a date and time that isn’t booked or blocked, then tap Save Appointment.
Manual Add doesn’t take an email or phone, so the client gets no confirmation or reminders.
To cancel, open the booking from Schedule or Bookings and tap Cancel Booking. The time opens up again, and a client who booked online gets an email.
Not yet, for you or your clients. Instead, cancel the booking and add the new time with Manual Add, or ask the client to book again.
Cancelling refunds anything the client paid online in full, and a Manual Add booking sends nothing, so let the client know the new time yourself. If you took a deposit, have them rebook online to pay it again.
Up to 14 days, unless you change it. Set your Booking Window in Settings → System Settings, anywhere from 2 to 90 days.
Your calendar and the AI assistant offer only dates inside it, and bookings you add yourself follow it too.
Not yet. There’s no minimum-notice setting, so clients can book any open time later today.
Instead, when you’d rather not take more bookings today, block the rest of the day with Block time in Schedule.
Not yet. Busy times in Google or Apple Calendar won’t block your booking page. Instead, add them in Timebase with Block time.
Your bookings live in Timebase: Schedule shows them by day, week or month, and Bookings lists them with search and filters. You get an email for every new booking, plus a text if texts are on.
Payments
Get paid through Stripe, take deposits, and handle cancellations and refunds.
8 questions
Connect Stripe, then choose how you’re paid. Payments are included in every plan and in the free trial.
- In Settings → Payments → Stripe Connect, tap Connect and finish Stripe’s setup.
- In Payment Collection, choose an option and tap Save.
The options:
- Pay at Service: nothing upfront; clients pay you at the appointment.
- Deposit: clients pay part of the price to book, and it counts toward the total.
- Full Payment: clients pay the whole price when they book.
Your choice covers every service, however clients book.
About two business days after each payment, for US accounts. Your first payout usually takes 7–14 days.
Client payments go straight into your own Stripe account, not through Timebase, and Stripe pays them out to the bank account you add during its setup. To see every payment and payout, tap Stripe Dashboard in Settings → Payments → Stripe Connect.
Online payments are for US-based businesses and are charged in US dollars.
No. Timebase adds no fee to what clients pay; the only thing you pay us is your plan.
Stripe deducts its standard processing fee from each payment, and doesn’t return that fee when you refund.
Clients pay part of the price to book, and it counts toward the service. With a 50% deposit on a $120 service, they pay $60 to book and $60 later.
Set the amount in Settings → Payments → Cancellation Policy, as a flat fee or a percentage with a minimum; it starts at 50%. Clients see the exact amount before they pay.
To let a regular skip the deposit, give them a Waive code from Discount Codes. Collecting the rest?
In person, or by card once the appointment has started. Card charges go to the card the client booked with.
- Open the booking from Schedule or Bookings.
- Tap the charge button, which shows the amount, such as “Charge $60.00 Remainder”.
- Tap Confirm.
You keep the deposit, or the full payment, when a client cancels late. They work with Deposit or Full Payment, not Pay at Service.
Set your window in Settings → Payments → Cancellation Policy: how many hours ahead a client can still cancel for free (24 to start, up to 168). With 24 hours, a client who cancels two days ahead gets a full refund automatically; one who cancels that morning doesn’t.
Clients see your policy before they pay, and changes apply to new bookings only.
You keep whatever they paid upfront: the deposit, or the full price with Full Payment, unless you choose to refund it. There’s no separate no-show fee, and clients can’t cancel from their link once the appointment time has passed.
With Pay at Service nothing is collected in advance, so switch to Deposit if no-shows are costing you.
Open the booking and choose a refund. Depending on what they paid, you’ll see Refund Full, Refund Deposit or Refund Remainder, each with its amount, or Refund (Keep Deposit), which returns everything except the deposit. These stay on the booking until 7 days after the appointment.
Cancelling a booking yourself refunds the client in full automatically. Fees kept from late cancellations can be refunded any time from Analytics → Cancellations. Refunds reach the client’s card in 5–10 business days.
Plans & billing

7 questions
Essential is $19 a month and AI Pro is $29 a month, after a 14-day free trial. Paid yearly, they’re $205 and $312, about 10% less.
- Essential: your booking page with calendar booking, text reminders, group bookings, deposits, cancellation fees and analytics.
- AI Pro: everything in Essential, plus the AI booking assistant, rebooking reminders, a short yourname.timebase.pro link and the option to remove the Timebase badge.
Prices are in US dollars, paid by card. Have a promo code? Enter it when you choose your plan. Compare the plans.
Yes: 14 days free, and you don’t need a card to start.
The trial runs on the plan you pick at sign-up, AI Pro or Essential, with everything that plan includes except removing the Timebase badge. There’s one free trial per account.
Nothing is charged, because the trial never takes a card. To keep going, tap Renew in Settings → Billing during your trial; after it ends, opening your dashboard takes you straight to the plans.
- Everything you set up stays as it is: your page, services, hours and bookings.
- You can subscribe before the 14 days are up; billing starts on the day you subscribe.
Yes, any time.
- In Settings → Billing, tap Manage Subscription.
- On the Stripe page that opens, choose Update subscription.
- Pick the plan, and monthly or yearly billing.
Moving to Essential switches your page to calendar booking and stops rebooking reminders. Your page, services and bookings stay as they are. During the free trial, you pick your plan when you subscribe.
Yes, there’s no contract. In Settings → Billing, tap Manage Subscription and cancel on the Stripe page that opens.
What happens next:
- Your plan stops renewing, and fees already paid aren’t refunded, as our Terms explain.
- Your account isn’t deleted. Your page, services and bookings stay, so you can log in later, choose a plan and pick up where you left off.
On Stripe’s billing page. In Settings → Billing, tap Manage Subscription; the secure page that opens is where you update your card and see past invoices.
The Billing page itself shows your plan, its status, and your next billing date with the amount.
Yes. You earn a cash payout for every business you refer that starts a paid plan.
- Connect Stripe in Settings → Payments → Stripe Connect; payouts go there.
- In Settings → Referrals, choose a referral code to get your link. New businesses can also enter the code at sign-up.
- When a business you referred makes its first payment (not the free trial), your payout follows about a week later.
The Referrals page shows the payout amount, and can add a Timebase banner with your link to your booking page.
Reminders & insights
Reminders for clients, alerts for you, rebooking emails and your numbers.
8 questions
Yes, by text, if they ask for them. The booking page has a box for text reminders, unticked until the client chooses it. Clients who tick it get two texts, about 24 hours and about 2 hours before, on both plans.
The texts are short, like “Your Brow Lamination appointment with Brow Theory by Mei is tomorrow at 2:00 PM PST.” Every client who books online also gets a confirmation email right away. Client didn’t get one?
Most often, they didn’t tick the text-reminders box; it starts unticked on every booking. Other reasons:
- It was booked under 24 hours ahead, so only the 2-hour text goes out (none if under 2 hours).
- You added it with Manual Add, which takes no phone number.
- You turned off Text notifications in Settings → Notifications.
- The phone number has a typo.
- The booking was cancelled.
You can turn them off, but not reword them. Turning off Text notifications in Settings → Notifications stops client reminders and the texts you get about bookings.
To give clients your own instructions, add an Email Note to a service. It goes out in the confirmation email for every booking of that service, with your cancellation policy if you’ve set one.
By email, every time, and in the notifications bell at the top of your dashboard.
For texts too, turn on Text notifications in Settings → Notifications, or tick the box for texts when you sign up. Texts go to the phone number on your Business Profile.
When a client cancels, you get a bell notification, plus a text if texts are on. The bell also lists each online payment and keeps the last 30 days.
AI Pro plan
They email past clients an invitation to book again. Once a set time has passed since a visit, the client gets one email with a button to rebook; if they’ve already booked their next visit, nothing is sent.
Turn them on from the Rebooking page. Choose a default interval, from 1 week to 1 year, then give any service its own or turn it off for one-offs like consultations. Emails go out around 9 a.m. your time.
AI Pro plan
Whichever of four subject lines and four short messages you pick, in any combination; send yourself a test first. Each email greets the client by first name and ends with a “Book your next appointment” button that opens your booking page.
The footer shows your business name, your mailing address and an unsubscribe link. US and Canadian anti-spam laws require the address, so reminders can’t be turned on until you add one; a P.O. box counts. Unsubscribing stops only your rebooking emails.
Four pages, on both plans:
- Trends: total bookings, your busiest day of the week, your most popular services and how far ahead clients book, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days or all time.
- Revenue: your revenue for the last day, week, month or year against the period before, plus your all-time total and every booking behind it.
- Cancellations: each cancellation fee and kept deposit, with the option to waive or refund it.
- Referrals: the businesses you’ve referred, how many started paying, and what you’ve earned.
From what each appointment was worth: the service price when the client booked, minus any discount code. It counts appointments that have already happened, paid online or in person, so it won’t always match your Stripe payouts.
Refunds come off the total, and a cancelled booking counts only a deposit or payment you kept. Changing a price later doesn’t change past revenue. Cancellation fees charged to a saved card are on the Cancellations page instead.
For clients
Booking with a business that uses Timebase: confirmations, payments and cancelling.
7 questions
Through the business’s booking link, with no app or account needed.
- Open the link and tap Book next to the service you want.
- Pick a time on the calendar, or tell the booking assistant what suits you in a short chat. Prefer the calendar? switches to the calendar.
- Enter your name, email and phone, and tick the box if you want text reminders.
- Add a card if the business asks for one, then confirm.
Times are shown in the business’s local time.
Yes, by email, right after you book. It has the service, date, time and length, any note and cancellation policy from the business, and a Cancel Booking button. The confirmation screen shows which address it went to.
Can’t find it? Check spam and search for the business’s name, which is in the subject line. Mistyped your email? Contact the business: your cancel link is only in that email.
Tap Cancel Booking in your confirmation email; it works until your appointment starts. Before you confirm, the page tells you whether you’ll get money back or owe a fee.
Cancel before the business’s cancellation window and anything you paid is refunded automatically. Inside the window, its policy applies: you may lose your deposit or payment, or be charged the fee shown when you booked.
Changing the time isn’t possible yet. Instead, cancel and book again, or contact the business.
To take a deposit or the full price when you book; a few businesses instead save your card and charge it only if you cancel late. The confirm page shows which applies, and how much, before you pay.
It’s safe: you enter your card in Stripe’s secure form, the money goes straight to the business, and Timebase never stores your full card number. After a deposit, the business can charge the rest to the same card once your appointment starts.
The business you booked with. Each business manages its own appointments and is paid directly, so changes and refunds are up to them. If the business cancels, anything you paid when booking is refunded in full automatically.
Replies to the confirmation email don’t reach the business. Use the phone or email in that email if the business shared one, or message them wherever you found their link. If the booking page itself isn’t working, contact us.
Yes, by text, if you tick the reminders box when you book and the business hasn’t turned reminders off. You’ll get one a day before and one a couple of hours before. The box covers that booking only, so tick it again next time.
To stop them, reply STOP to a reminder, as our SMS Program Terms describe. That stops all Timebase texts to your number; reply START to get them again. Cancelling a booking also stops its reminders.
The business sees your name, email and phone number, plus your address if the service needs one. Timebase keeps them to run bookings for the business and doesn’t sell them. Your card details stay with Stripe.
You’ll get emails about your booking, and some businesses send an occasional invitation to book again, with an unsubscribe link. For privacy requests, contact the business or email legal@timebase.pro. More in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
